Metallica goes off-road

Infogrames has announced that the popular heavy metal group Metallica will provide music for the company's PlayStation 2 game, Test Drive Off-Road Wide Open. Metallica's hit song Fuel will be the lead track on the soundtrack that will also include songs by Digital Assassins, 303 Infinity, Fear Factory, Un Loco, and more.

Test Drive Off-Road Wide Open features three racing locales including Moab, Utah; Yosimite, California; and Hawaii. The Ford F150, Dodge Ram, and Jeep Wrangler are some of the licensed vehicles in the game. Test Drive Off-Road Wide Open for the PlayStation 2 is currently scheduled for release on June 19.
