A video has surfaced online showing the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain multiplayer footage that was presented at Gamescom to media. Uploaded on YouTube by channel, the video shows footage from single-player missions followed by a look at multiplayer gameplay, which starts at the 17-minute mark.

The multiplayer segment shows Snake entering another player's base, and culminates with him being confronted by a character who looks identical to Snake.
