Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D creeps into stores Feb. 21

Japanese gamers will get Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D on March 8, but North American fans can pick the title up earlier. Today, Konami announced Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D will arrive in North America on February 21, with a European debut scheduled for March 8.

In addition to announcing North American and European release dates for the game, Konami also confirmed that the title will be compatible with the 3DS Circle Pad Pro accessory.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is a port of the PlayStation 2 stealth game with tweaks designed to take advantage of the 3DS hardware. These include 3D visuals, as well as touch pad and camera support.

[CORRECTION] The original version of this story reported the European date as the North American date. The actual North American release date for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is February 21. GameSpot regrets the error.
