The next entry in the Metal Gear Solid series, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, will be released worldwide on September 1, 2015.
The release date was expected to be announced on the game's official website tomorrow, as teased by a countdown clock that recently went live. However, it appears a video containing the date was leaked on IGN, as discovered by NeoGAF member Nibel. The image below comes from the very end of the video.
Phantom Pain is scheduled for release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
