Konami has officially detailed the resolution and frame rates of all four platforms that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be published on.

PlayStation 4 will render all those sneaky polygons at a native resolution of 1080p. The Xbox One version will run at 720p. Konami pledges that both platforms will play the game at a smooth 60fps.

Older platforms Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will upscale to 720p (the native resolution was not mentioned) and only run at 30fps.

"Since Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a multi-platform game, we have taken the opportunity to test the differences in how each version of the game looks and plays," said Konami.

"The videos [which will be posted at a later date] and images below show an overview of these differences, which we hope will help to decide which version is right for you."

You can view and compare the screenshots on Konami's site.

Kojima said earlier in February that the PlayStation 4 version of Ground Zeroes looked "slightly better" on PS4. Now that we can all see the screenshots, what do you think?

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be released on March 18.
