California-based Near Death Studios has announced the completion of Meridian 59: Resurrection, its remake of shut down in 2000, and last November Near Death Studios--a company made up of developers who worked on the original game--purchased the rights to the game from publisher 3DO.

The new version of the game features a number of bug fixes and other improvements. Eventually, the company intends to release an update to the game and possibly a full sequel. Meridian 59: Resurrection is scheduled for release in March. For more information, visit the official Near Death Studios Web site.
