Electronic Arts has updated its official site with an interview conducted with Stephen Townsend, the associate producer of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. General background details on the development team are discussed, along with information on the research the development team conducted to make the game as realistic as possible. Townsend also mentions the versatility of the Quake III engine in constructing the different environments that players will see in the game such as Omaha Beach, deserted French cities, and the deserts of North Africa. He goes on to say that players take on the role of Lt. Mike Powell, a member of the US Army Rangers, and that the two characters from the previous game--Jimmy Patterson and Manon--both make an appearance in Allied Assault.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is scheduled for release in October. For more information on the game, take a look at our previous coverage .
