Medal of Honor: Allied Assault patch available

Electronic Arts has released a patch for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, its recently released first-person shooter. The patch contains several changes and additions, including an in-game server browser for multiplayer games. It also optimizes the multiplayer mode under lag conditions, adds support for dedicated servers to be run from a command line, and lets users have remote control of servers hosting games through a command line. Medal of Honor is set in Europe and North Africa during World War II. Players assume the role of Allied soldier Lt. Mike Powell, a member of the 1st Ranger Battalion, on a series of missions behind enemy lines. The game features a complete single-player campaign and several multiplayer modes.
