Mech 3 Game Commanders Upgrade
Those sick of looking for the keyboard commands for the latest MechWarrior can now just speak their minds.
Tech Data has announced that its latest voice-recognition and communication software, Game Commander, is now shipping with a full copy of Hasbro Interactive's MechWarrior 3. The package is available for US$49.95 and lets gamers use verbal commands in place of keyboard shortcuts for targeting, weapon selection, and other tedious keyboard tasks.
''Game Commander is a very exciting product in the world of gaming," said Peter Matiss of Hasbro Interactive. "The addition of voice command capabilities to MechWarrior 3 adds a new level of immersion and interactivity to the game.''
