According to a recent report in The Salt Lake Tribune, retired professional wrestler Maxx Payne, whose real name is Darryl Peterson, has filed a $10 million lawsuit against the creators of the action game Max Payne. The former wrestler, who first appeared as Maxx Payne in 1988, claims that Rockstar Games, 3D Realms Entertainment, Remedy Entertainment, and Gathering of Developers stole his persona when they created the popular third-person shooter.

"I left wrestling to come home to Utah and be with my family and I find myself in the biggest battle of my life--to save my identity," Peterson told The Salt Lake Tribune. "They stole something from me that I'm not going to give up. I'll fight until there's no fight left."
