Max Steel First Impressions

Mattel is taking the popular cartoon series and turning it into a third-person adventure game. You'll assume the role of Max Steel himself, a half-cybernetic secret agent who fights evil in super spylike ways.

Dawn Shadow, the sexy female mastermind behind the international high-tech terrorist faction DREAD, is executing a plan to turn the world into zombie slaves. Knowing Steel would be a thorn in her curvaceous backside, she kidnaps Steel's adopted father and hides him in a remote location. Now you, as Steel, must find your father, track down Shadow's secret base, and kick a whole lot of terrorist butt to prevent Shadow from completing her horrible task.

Assuming the role of Steel has its privileges. Not only will you be dressed in a cute blue jumpsuit, but you'll also get to use Steel's incredible Nanotek powers. Exactly what these powers will do has yet to be revealed, but you can assume they'll be similar to those found in the cartoon series. Additionally, you'll be able to use a large selection of high-tech weaponry and spy gadgets to dispose of terrorists and solve the game's puzzles, which are spread through the game's eight locations.

You'll be able to smack terrorism silly when the game ships this winter.
