Update: Amazon listings for Andromeda's Deluxe Edition have also now gone live, revealing the names (but not the specifics) of its contents. It comes with the Pathfinder casual outfit, Scavenger armor, Pathfinder elite weapon set, Pet Pyjak (Monkey), digital soundtrack, and multiplayer deluxe launch pack ($5 value). The page references two preorder bonuses: the Deep Space Explorer armor and a multiplayer booster pack that provides five 50 percent experience boosters.

BioWare has also released a new trailer, which you can watch here. Amazon also leaked the existence of several collectibles based on the Nomad vehicle.

Original Story: Images of Mass Effect: Andromeda's box art have appeared online, ahead of developer BioWare's N7 Day announcements. The pictures were posted by Best Buy and show the cover for the PC version of the game and the Deluxe Edition.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda takes players to the Andromeda galaxy, far beyond the Milky Way," it reads. "There, players will lead our fight for a new home in hostile territory as the Pathfinder--a leader of military-trained explorers. This is the story of humanity's next chapter, and player choices throughout the game will ultimately determine our survival."

The description continues: "In this new chapter of Mass Effect, meet and recruit all-new, interesting character caught up in an epic space saga filled with mystery and galactic conflict ... With a much more flexible skill and weapon progression tree, you can replicate your play style to make you unstoppable against new, powerful alien enemies."

It also alludes to the multiplayer: "For 1 player or up to 4 in multiplayer." BioWare hasn't said much about Mass Effect: Andromeda's multiplayer in an official capacity, but it has been mentioned in previous leaks. It may be that we get more concrete details today.

Similarly, destructible environments are also mentioned in the text, but this hasn't been discussed by BioWare much. Many assumed it would be implemented in the game since it is being developed using Frostbite 3, the engine DICE uses for its Battlefield titles, in which destructibility is a key gameplay feature.

Publisher EA is expected to reveal new Mass Effect: Andromeda information as part of N7 Day and has already started teasing announcements on Twitter. A trailer with information on "new characters" and "new worlds" has been confirmed as being among the announcements.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is due out before the end of March 2017. The game is shaping up well right now, according to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, but the publisher could delay the game if it feels that's the right thing to do.
