Marvel’s Spider-Man Gets An Impressive Anti-Ock Hot Toys Figure

With great power comes great responsibility to look cool.

Hot Toys has been steadily releasing sixth-scale figures based on Marvel’s Spider-Man ever since the game launched in 2018. The latest figure in this line has been revealed is based on the armored Anti-Ock suit that Spider-Man wears for his final showdown with Doctor Octopus.

Much like other Spider-Man figures from Hot Toys, this replica includes a masked head sculpt with multiple pairs of interchangeable eyes and numerous extras such as alternate hands and web accessories.

The suit itself features a luminous reflective effect that will reveal more details when exposed to light. The figure also comes in two different editions: a standard version that includes all the aforementioned extras and a deluxe version that includes several of Doc Ock’s mechanical tentacles as part of a diorama base. The figure also has plenty of articulation, although you won't want to leave it in too dynamic a pose for long or you'll risk permanently creasing the hand-tailored costume.

You’ll have to wait a while before the Anti-Ock Spider-Man figure is made available though, as it’ll only start shipping out from January 2022. Until then, you can preorder the figure from Sideshow Collectibles, with the standard edition costing $250 or the deluxe edition costing $285.

The Video Game Masterpiece range of Spider-Man figures also includes the wallcrawler in several of his other costumes. From the advanced suit that Peter Parker wears for the majority of the game to the Mark IV armor, Spider-Man 2099, and Spider-Punk outfits, there’s a Spider-Man for multiple tastes.
