Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order gets its first DLC pack on Monday, September 30. Titled Marvel Knights, the DLC pack will be available to those who own the game's expansion pass.

Marvel Knights comes with four new playable characters--Blade, Moon Knight, Morbius, and Punisher--and a new Gauntlet mode where you'll endure "an intense series of co-op missions." Purchasing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3's expansion pass, which retails for $20 USD / $30 AUD / £16 GBP, nets you an alternative-color chef outfit for Deadpool.

Now Playing: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 To Add Cyclops And Punisher - GS News Update

Marvel shared some news about upcoming characters for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 at San Diego Comic-Con. Before Marvel Knights arrives this September, Colossus and Cyclops will join the alliance on Friday, August 30 as a free update. The X-Men and the Fantastic Four are also planned to be added to the game, launching sometime in 2019 and 2020, respectively.

The NPD Group reported that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 was one of July's best-selling games in the US. The game came out in the number four spot, losing out to Super Mario Maker 2 at three, Fire Emblem: Three Houses at two, and Madden NFL 20 at one.

In our Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order review, we said, "[The game] falters in places, but there's still nothing quite like the Ultimate Alliance series, and this long-awaited third entry makes it a triumphant return for a superhero brawler that feels more relevant than ever."
