Marvel Studios Boss Offers Updates On Disney+ Streaming Shows She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and Hawkeye

Disney+ has a massive stable of MCU TV shows just over the horizon, here are some updates.

It's been a massive day for MCU news, thanks to Disney's Investor Day live stream. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige took the virtual stage to offer updates and first looks at all sorts of upcoming projects, including the upcoming Black Panther 2, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and Thor: Love And Thunder. But the big screen wasn't the only topic discussed.

Feige also took the time to offer updates on upcoming Disney+ streaming TV shows. First came trailers for shows like WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, both of which will be arriving on the platform in 2021, but then things began looking a bit more forward with updates about the currently in production and development projects like She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and Hawkeye.

First up, with She-Hulk, Feige was able to officially confirm that Tatiana Maslany had been cast as the titular character, Jennifer Walters. He also added that Tim Roth will be returning as Abomination and Mark Ruffalo will be playing Bruce Banner, who in the comics is Jen's cousin. Feige went on to tease that fans should expect all kinds of cameos, given that Walters is a lawyer who specializes in cases that involve superheroes.

For Moon Knight, Feige was able to tease less, and did not confirm any casting. He did, however, offer a little bit of context for the MCU's version of the character. "Moon Knight is an action adventure, Indiana Jones-type story, directed by Mohammed Diab." He said.

"The character Moon Knight is a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder and these multiple identities that live inside him are very distinct characters in the series. The backdrop of our story is incredible Egyptian iconography. Egyptology is something the world's always been fascinated by, and we're going to tap into the fun and bold way."

Finally, for Hawkeye, Feige was able to confirm that Hailee Steinfeld will indeed be playing Kate Bishop. The show will also feature Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d'Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. The show is set to debut in late 2021.

Neither She-Hulk nor Moon Knight have slated premiere dates yet. Hawkeye is scheduled for 2021.
