There are plenty of decks and strategies that work alongside Plunder Castle, but one thing to keep in mind before assembling cards is to not completely double down on this particular Location. With Plunder Castle being a Featured Location, it only has a 40% spawn rate, so you'll want to make sure your deck is still effective if this particular Location doesn't show up.

Use at least some of the following cards to win the Plunder Castle Location:

  • Sunspot (1 Cost, 1 Power)
  • Iron Fist (1 Cost, 2 Power)
  • Goose (2 Cost, 2 Power)
  • Shuri (4 Cost, 2 Power)Wong (4 Cost, 2 Power)
  • White Tiger (5 Cost, 1 Power)
  • Black Panther (5 Cost, 4 Power)
  • Captain Marvel (5 Cost, 6 Power)
  • Vision (5 Cost, 7 Power)
  • Doctor Doom (6 Cost, 5 Power)
  • Arnim Zola (6 Cost, 0 Power)
  • Odin (6 Cost, 8 Power)
  • Infinaut (6 Cost, 20 Power)

Although Plunder Castle only allows 6-Cost cards to be played there, that doesn't mean you can't use other means to add cards to that location. Move cards are particularly useful here, especially Vision, which can be moved each turn. Use Shuri (On Reveal: Double the Power of the next card you play) to make Vision even more Powerful, or even to enhance the ability of Captain Marvel (At the end of the game, move to a location that wins you the game), which can be added to Plunder Castle to win you the game.

Likewise, other Move-themed plays such as Iron Fist (On Reveal: Move the next card you play one location to the left after it reveals) with Goose (Ongoing: Nobody can play cards that cost 4, 5, or 6 at this location) can disallow opponents from even playing into Plunder Castle.

Another effective choice is Doctor Doom (On Reveal: Add a 5-Power DoomBot to each other location), which can be enough to win Plunder Castle, or other locations, depending on what you've played beforehand.

You can also utilize the White Tiger (On Reveal: Add a 7-Power Tiger to another location)and Odin (On Reveal: Activate the On Reveal abilities of your other cards at this Location) combo to trigger two 7-Power Tiger cards, which have a chance of being added to Plunder Castle (though, if they're added elsewhere, it can still serve you well). Even better if you play these cards along with Wong (Ongoing: Your On Reveal abilities at this location happen twice).

We also suggest trying the highly effective Black Panther (On Reveal: Double this card’s Power) and Arnim Zola (On Reveal: Destroy a random friendly card here. Add copies of it to the other locations) combo. Try to buff your Black Panther as much as possible and play it into other locations aside from Plunder Castle. Then, use Arnim Zola to destroy the Black Panther at that location, spawning a copy at each other location for double the Power. This strategy works well regardless of whether Plunder Castle appears.

Finally, we recommend using the Infinaut (If you played a card last turn, you can't play this) and Sunspot (At the end of each turn, gain +1 Power for each unspent Energy) combo. Use Sunspot alongside Storm to lock down a location and then, skip turn 5, allowing you to play Infinaut into Plunder Castle on turn 6.
