Mark Hamill and Many Other Stars Voicing Master of Orion Reboot

World of Tanks developer Wargaming's upcoming Master of Orion reboot has a pretty impressive voice cast. The publisher has announced the lineup of voice talent for the game, and it includes people Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Alan Tudyk (Star Wars Rogue One), Michael Dorn (Star Trek), and Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street). Prolific video game voice actors Troy Baker, Nolan North, and Roger Craig Smith also have parts in the game.
"Having some of the most iconic science fiction, horror, and video game voice talent lending their skills to the game only helps us realize this amazing universe in even more exciting ways," developer WG Labs director of product vision Chris Keeling said in a statement.
It was also announced that Master of Orion will will launch through Steam Early Access on February 26. Additionally, a $50 Collector's Edition will be available on that date through Steam and GOG, though it's not immediately clear what is included with this premium version.
Wargaming is promising enhanced visuals that will "breathe new life into the vast galaxy available to explore and conquer, as well as give new personality to the many races which call it home."
Other key features include "a revamped user interface, an orchestral score from the original game's composer, new user tutorials, and more."
Credited with being a pioneer of the Explore, Expand, Exploit, and Exterminate (4X) genre, Masters of Orion was first released in 1993 for MS-DOS and Mac. The game tasks player with using politics or force to lead a chosen race to galactic dominance.
