Mario Kart TV Website Goes Live, Lets You View and Share Replays
Also works on your mobile device.
Nintendo has launched the official Mario Kart TV website for upcoming racing game Mario Kart 8, which launches exclusively for Wii U tomorrow, May 30. The website lets you view and share gameplay replays uploaded to the site through Mario Kart 8's TV mode.
There is no Mario Kart TV dedicated mobile app for iOS or Android, but the website is optimized for viewing on your smartphone or tablet. You can also log in at the website with your Nintendo Network account to see your own videos and share them with others.
You can also search for specific types of content. There are filters for specific courses, characters, and race types (Grand Prix, Time Trials, VS Race, Battle, Tournaments). If you enjoyed a video you just saw, you can easily share it with friends on Facebook and Twitter.
Though Mario Kart 8 isn't out yet, the Mario Kart TV website is already flooded with videos, including pages' worth of videos uploaded in the last 10 minutes alone. For more on Mario Kart 8, check out GameSpot's review and what other critics are saying.
