Margot Robbie, Suicide Squad Director Are Making an All-Female DC Villains Movie

I enjoyed suicide squad while fully recognizing it as being far from a perfect film but if they can pull this off properly this could be a fun movie

Robbie was one of the weakest parts of suicide squad. She gave a watered down take on the animated version of Harley. She brought nothing new to the table with the character.

Her, will Smith and ayar are what ruined the movie IMO. Letto wasn't bad, his take was interesting, but his lines were out of character.

The best option for WB and DC is to just go with fans theory from the beginning. That he's not the real joker and is Jason todd and recast the roll.

It only made $700,000,000 because of insane amounts of advertising. It was absolutely garbage and nown people know it i think thesee spin offs won't be anywhere near as successful.

I love how DC/WB are releasing extended cuts aka "dlc" for more money . Movie was garbage generated money on just hype pfff.

Ugh god; no. I mean I'd love to see a Poison Ivy that wasn't completely destroyed by Uma Thurmann's campy acting in Batman & Robin or indeed a decent Catwoman akin to Michelle Pfeiffer but seriously, seriously, not this Harley Quinn again. I thought Margot Robbie did awful as her and basically by means of flanderization reduced her character down to nothing but a psychopath with a joisey accent.

Well, I can't wait to see this. I don't know that many DC villains that are female anyway (Catwoman, Harley, err... Plant Woman, I know her name, but I forgot it at the moment of writing, uh.... uh... okay, that's it.). So it will help me discover new characters.

Now let's see the rage of the complainers rain in the comment section. I will feed on their raging, salty tears. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahah~

EDIT AFTER READING:Ah, good. Poison Ivy. Good. Wait... what will be her costume? It better not be ugly! Seriously! She's not easy to screw up. If they fail this character, I will have no more faith in this movie. Not that I have any right now. But at least there is a slight hint of hope it might be decent. If it turns out to be a Dragon Ball Evolution in quality, screw it. Or maybe not... that movie made me laugh.

Suicide Squad made $700 million? How in the blue hell?! Worst movie I have seen since Hail, Caesar! I'm just glad I didn't have to pay to watch it.

I'm pretty sick of PR for anything these days is "we're enlightened too, see. We made a movie with all women." And then of course it's a horrible movie made with no passion and only made for the easy money.

I do not cares anymore.

I want to like this but I can't help feeling it's going to be like Pirates of the Caribbean where they made a sequel with way too much Jack Sparrow.

I had high hopes for Suicide Squad but it turned out merely OK. I don't read a tonne of comics so I try to judge movies for what they are, not on some idea of what they should be. However I feel like Squad would have been a much better film if it was going to be R rated from the outset & wasn't just another sky beam threatening the world. Margot Robbie & Will Smith are absolutely the redeeming factors of the film but leaning on one character too much for a sequel is by no means guaranteed success.

If there's going to be DC Gotham City Sirens movie, might as well go ahead and work on Marvel's Bird of Prey while were at it.

The most interesting things about female DC "villains" is that, rarely, are they villains.

Catwoman is just a thief. She never wants nor tries to seriously harm anyone. A lot of her comics are about her being a reluctant hero.

Poison Ivey just sees plants as equal to humans. She hides more than anything else.

Quinn has Stockholm Syndrome, plain and simple.

Go to suicide squad on the first week. Too many people at the cinema and too many disapointment after. I am going to wait for reception before making any decision on dc movies.

The Warner Bros. Justice League movies have been "meh" so far. It's not like the Marvel movies where they are hit or miss. Every movie has been pretty blah. And that's probably the nicest thing you'll hear about them. I know some major DC fans and they aren't nearly so nice.

My first reaction when hearing about this - "oh dear god, have mercy."

if they do it cus they have a better story great if it's just for the PC nonsense frack that, don't bother.....

remember men like the female heroes and villains too, Harley, Ivey, Catwoman, Live Wire, Killer Frost....etc are all liked by guys not just girls.....

i wanna be excited but I need more info to get a feel for what this'll be....Harley in another flick though, that's good stuff....

You have an all-female cast in a comic book series, no one bats an eye. But when you make a movie about it, everyone loses their minds. Don't you love the internet sometimes?

O hell yeah. Everyone loves Harley Quinn too. Shes one of most popular female villains. So proud of DC.

Yeah, cuz that worked so well for Ghostbusters. Instead of making a movie with an agenda, how about you just make a good movie?

They already made an all-female villains movie this year, it's about a group of women who take a beloved franchise and turn it into an unfunny mess of ugly CG and bad jokes.

I actually enjoyed Suicide Squad a lot, but I go into comic movies with the understanding that the film universe is different than the comic universe. Much like some of the Alternate versions of comics themselves (New 52 for example). No the characters were not perfect representations of their comic selves, but it was still fun, and entertaining.
