GameSpot has confirmed that Mandy Rose has been released by WWE after losing the NXT Women's Championship. Fightful was the first to report. Real name Amanda Rose Saccomanno, Rose began a professional fitness competition career in 2013. Two years later, she placed Second Place on the WWE competition Tough Enough, after which she signed a contract with WWE and joined the cast of the reality television show Total Divas.

After a brief stint in NXT, Rose made her main roster debut in 2017 as part of the short-lived faction Absolution with Paige (now AEW's Saraya) and Sonya Deville.

On the December 13 episode of NXT, Rose lost the NXT Women's Championship to Roxanne Perez in a rematch, ending her reign as champion at an astonishing 413 days.

According to initial reports, WWE officials felt they were put in an awkward position based on the content she was posting on her FanTime page. They felt the material was outside of the content limits of her WWE deal.

WWE also had a problem with performers making money off third-party apps like Cameo and Twitch at one point, but those deals seem to be back on the table.
