A man wearing a Pokemon hat and carrying a Pikachu stuffed animal jumped the White House fence Thursday afternoon, and made it onto the lawn at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. His story ended in capture, however, and not with the glory of catching them all.

According to multiple reporters at the scene, the man was quickly detained by Secret Service agents. The disturbance put the White House on lockdown, but President Obama was out attending a September 11 memorial.

The man's motive was unclear, and the significance of the Pokemon gear--if there was any--is unknown.

Multiple new Pokemon games are in development, including remakes of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire for 3DS, as well as a fighting game called Pokken Tournament.
