Take-Two Interactive has announced that Mall Tycoon, its shopping-center management game, has shipped to stores. The game, which was developed by Holistic Design, lets players design, build, and manage their own shopping mall. It includes more than 250 store combinations, more than 120 scenery pieces, and a wide variety of shoppers, mall employees, and special events. The game also features more than 15 different single-player scenarios.

"Our goal has been to capture the essence of what really goes on behind the scenes at a shopping center," Holistic director Andrew Greenberg said. "As a result, players are not only challenged to build an economically successful mall, but they must also deal with the oddities that occur on a regular basis."

Mall Tycoon will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $19.99. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
