Majesco Embraces Console Development

The company plans to continue to support the console platforms through its in-house development team, Pipe Dream Interactive.

Majesco has revealed that it is delighted with the success of Rainbow Six for the Dreamcast - which has sold more than 200,000 copies to date - and plans to develop several new games for the DC and other next-generation consoles. Company president Jesse Sutton said, "We're delighted to achieve such success with the initial release from our Pipe Dream Interactive studio, and we look forward to dramatically expanding our lineup in the coming months to include original content for the next-generation console platforms. Rainbow Six and Dreamcast fans can now look forward to Rogue Spear, the highly anticipated sequel whose new features include an intense multiplayer mode."
