Not long after Ben Kingsley and Kristanna Loken joined its cast, the BloodRayne movie has snagged two other well-known actors. The Hollywood Reporter reported today that Michael Madsen and Michele Rodriguez, who both voiced characters in the recently released Driver 3, have signed on to the project.

Rodriguez will play as Katarin, who runs a chapter of the Brimstone Society, the secret organization that dispatches the half-vampire vigilante BloodRayne (Loken) to battle supernatural villains. Madsen will play as Vladimir, a celebrated vampire hunter. In other casting news, Blue Crush co-star Matt Davis will play as Vladimir's partner, Sebastian.

Production on BloodRayne is set to begin next month in Romania. Uwe Boll, the producer/director behind the House of the Dead film, will direct from a script by American Psycho screenwriter Guinevere Turner. The film is due in theaters sometime in 2005. A sequel to the BloodRayne game is due out for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2 in October 2004.
