Madden 24's Best Players And Teams Revealed

It's Madden ratings week, which means we're uncovering the top players at every position in the game.

Comments

Madden NFL 24 is less than a month out from its release, and we now know who the best players are at each position. Madden Ratings Week, as the league likes to call it, reeled off top 10s for each key position group, as well as the small handful to earn the illustrious 99 OVR. Check out all the ratings revealed so far below, including quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, and multiple defensive positions. We've also got a roundup of the starters on each team in the league, giving us a great sense of how they will compare when the game first launches.

Best QBs in Madden 24

A team rises and falls with its signal-caller. That's true in Madden and in real life. Here's a look at the best QBs in Madden 24.

Best RBs in Madden 24

They say running backs have been devalued in the NFL, but that's less true in Madden where they are still huge difference-makers. Here are the best running backs in Madden 24.

Best WRs in Madden 24

We're living in a golden age of wideout play, with more elite talent than ever before. Madden 24's best receivers have now been revealed, and it's no surprise to see Justin Jefferson top the list, given he was also the first 99 OVR player revealed (as you can see below).

Best TEs in Madden 24

TEs can be a QBs security blanket, but the best of them are game-changers in any context. The top 10 Madden 24 TEs have been revealed, and the list includes another 99 OVR player, Travis Kelce.

Best Defensive players in Madden 24

Defense wins championships, and so too will the players making the list of the game's best edge rushers, linebackers, safeties, and cornerbacks. We've rounded up the best Madden 24 defenders so far.

99 Club

Justin Jefferson - WR

Our first reveal for the Madden 24 99 Club is perhaps the most obvious choice. Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson had an absolutely phenomenal season in 2022, going off for over 1,800 yards and making arguably the best catch of the year against the Buffalo Bills in week nine. Jefferson has cemented himself as one of, if not the top receiver in all of football, and his status in the 99 Club should be set in stone for years to come.

Aaron Donald - DL

There's really not much else to say at this point. This is Aaron Donald’s seventh straight appearance in the 99 Club, all as a member of the LA Rams. While Donald's career is winding down, he's still an absolute force of nature in the trenches. Players can expect to see Donald remain a member of the 99 Club as long as he remains in the NFL.

Zack Martin - OL

Zack Martin of the Dallas Cowboys is the first offensive guard to make an appearance in the 99 Club since Larry Allen did it way back in 2003. Martin has been a mainstay on the Boys' interior line since the mid 2010's, and he has seemingly only improved with age. There's a reason why Dallas always has a potent run game, and Martin is a large reason why the team has such success running to the right side.

Travis Kelce - TE

Travis Kelce is an unsurprising addition to the 99 Club in Madden 24. The Kansas City tight end was utterly dominant throughout last season and led the Chiefs' receiving corps en route to a Super Bowl title. Kelce has cemented himself as the unquestioned best tight end in the NFL and could be on his way to becoming the best to ever play the game if he keeps up his eye-popping numbers.

Patrick Mahomes - QB

It's difficult to place Patrick Mahomes anywhere but the 99 Club anymore. The Chiefs' leading man won another Super Bowl last season after showing that he can win without Tyreek Hill. Mahomes is undoubtedly the best quarterback in the NFL, and it would be extremely surprising to see him relinquish that status anytime in the near or distant future.
