Madden 17: Watch Von Miller Sing and Dance to Justin Bieber in Wacky Video

Another year, another bizarre Madden NFL commercial.

Comments

As it's been doing for the past few years, EA Sports today released a wacky, over-the-top video for this year's Madden NFL game.

Madden NFL 17's is a wacky music video starring Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller, who is singing along to his version of the Justin Bieber song "Sorry." Miller's song is instead called "Start Me," and in it, he sings about why you should put him in your starting lineup--which you'd obviously do anyway considering his 99 rating.

Now Playing: Madden NFL 17 - Start Me ft. Von Miller Trailer

Some of the lines include "Rushing the passer and tackling dudes are some strengths of mine" and "Opponents never gonna make first downs, try and try they won't gain no ground."

You'll also notice that Miller is a pretty accomplished dancer. He was on ABC's Dancing With the Stars, so he's no stranger to busting a move--and some occasional flatulence.

This is a more positive depiction of Miller for Madden 17 than the game's first screenshots, one of which showed him getting stiff-armed by Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

EA is no stranger to wacky Madden NFL promotional videos. The publisher enlisted Kevin Hart and Dave Franco for a totally absurd Madden NFL 15 trailer. The next year, EA released a video promoting Madden NFL 16 that starred San Francisco Giants QB Colin Kaepernick playing the role of Al Pacino from Scent of a Woman for a fake Madden movie. What will they think of next?

Madden NFL 17 launches on August 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is the game's cover star. The athlete, who is currently sidelined from practice with unspecified injury, says he doesn't believe in the so-called Madden Curse.
