The toy-vehicles-with-weapons genre is a specific but well-explored one, with the original Micro Machines game paving the way for the likes of Toy Commander and Twisted Metal: Small Brawl. Now the genre is headed for the Xbox 360, as Microsoft today announced that Load Inc.'s Mad Tracks will arrive on the Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow.

Inspired by "pull back and go" toy cars, Mad Tracks debuted as a downloadable PC racing game last year. The Live Arcade version will include a dozen cars, a dozen power-ups, six races, nine minigames, and four-player split-screen or online play. New races and minigames will be added to the game through a pair of expansions packs set to sell for 350 Microsoft points ($4.37).

Published by D3 Publisher of America, Mad Tracks will sell for 800 Microsoft points ($10) and should be available Wednesday starting at 2 a.m. Pacific. The game has been rated E for Everyone.
