Lucas' Indy Adventure

Its been quite a long time since we heard about LucasArts' upcoming action-adventure game Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. The game is set in 1947 as Soviet agents search for the ruins of what was once the Tower of Babel. Within the ruins are the parts of a fabled interdimensional gate to a realm called Aetherium, where the Soviets hope to find the power they need to take control of the world. Only Indy, with his friend Sophia Hapgood, can save the day. And theyll have to run around the globe to ensure that the Soviets don't gather the parts they need to reassemble the gate.

Originally, the game had been scheduled to ship in the latter half of 1998. Now it is expected to release sometime this December.
