Lord of the Rings Gets a Suicide Squad-Style Fan Trailer

Lord of the Rings and Suicide Squad don't have much in common, but both do feature a band of misfits coming together to complete an important task. One YouTuber has made this similarity very apparent in a Suicide Squad-style trailer for the Middle-earth trilogy.

The fan-made trailer above, created by YouTuber The Unusual Suspect, features scenes from all three Lord of the Rings movies set to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" (via io9). The recently released Suicide Squad trailer featured the same song.

The trailer showcases many of the trilogy's more comedic moments, but it also features some of the more action-packed scenes. It's accompanied by Suicide Squad-style text that spells out the words "KICK ORC BUTT" and "RING SQUAD" at the end.
