Fans of the Netflix adaptation of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez's Locke & Key won't have to wait too long until Season 2. During Netflix Geeked Week, it was announced the show is returning this October.

In a short video, the cast of the series made the announcement for Season 2 of Locke & Key. You can check that our for yourself below.

This wasn't the only announcement and reveal for the next string of episodes. A slew of new images have arrived, offering a bit of insight into what fans can expect in the upcoming season. Why is Duncan holding a key? How is Kinsey walking on water? Check out all these photos for yourself below.

The series follows a family whose patriarch is murdered mysteriously. So the rest of the family moves into their ancestral home and quickly discovers there are magical keys that can do extraordinary things. However, there are other people looking for these keys as well.

Season 2 of the hit series was underway right before the coronavirus outbreak, back in January 2020. And while we're four months out from the next installment of the Locke & Key, it has already been renewed for Season 3.

This was just one of many announcements fromNetflix Geeked Week, which showcases upcoming original movies and TV series to the streaming service. Geeked Week debuted a video for the upcoming Vikings prequel, Vikings: Valhalla, a trailer for the vampire movie Blood Red Sky, announced that Shadow & Bone will be getting a second season, and showed off Jean-Claude Van Damme in various wigs in the trailer for The Last Mercenary.
