Live 2001 Ships

Electronic Arts has shipped NBA Live 2001 for the PlayStation console. The major new feature in this year's version is the addition of post-up moves. Everything from the up-and-under to the hook shot is in the game.

"Gameplay- and feature-wise, we think NBA Live 2001 is the most complete basketball game ever," said Stan Chow, the game's executive producer. "We think that users will love the new inside moves and the NBA Challenge. We are also very happy with the new transitions, color commentary, and play-by-play, and we think this give users the sensation of being not only at an NBA game, but also on the court firing jumpers with the pros."

NBA Live 2001 for the PlayStation carries a suggested retail price of US$39.95.
