Little Big Planet Hub revealed for PS3

Today during Sony's Gamescom 2013 media briefing, the company announced Little Big Planet Hub for the PlayStation 3, the first free-to-play entry in the series.

Little Big Planet Hub, which will launch this year, will allow players to create levels and games and compete in challenges or create their own to share with the world.

Sony said players will have a "truckload" of tools to make their own games, though they will also be able to buy other items.

Little Big Planet 3 is rumored to be in development at Sumo Digital.
