Life Is Strange 2 Teaser Trailer Goes Really Badly For One Cop
Life is strange, and dangerous, apparently.
Despite being a sequel, Life is Strange 2 is still pretty mysterious. It's set to star a new cast of characters in a new location, both of which we know very little about. A new teaser trailer gives us the faintest hit of some plot points, and promises more details to come soon.
The teaser shows a police officer's dashboard camera as he drives around a normal-looking suburban neighborhood. He spots something and exits his squad car, and only a few moments later both he and his entire car are pushed and flipped by some strong force. The teaser ends with a promise that "All Will Be Revealed August 20th 2018." On that date, presumably, Square Enix will release a longer and more detailed trailer.
Life is Strange earned a following for its dramatic storytelling touching on dark subjects within a magical realist setting. A free in-universe game, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, helps set the stage for Life is Strange 2. We've already gleaned what we can from that release, but this trailer and the other one upcoming at the end of this month should give us much more detail.
The first episode of Life is Strange 2 will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 27.
