The trailer for Lego Star Wars Terrifying Tales has been released. The Halloween-themed Lego Stars Wars special hits Disney+ on October 1.

The special focuses on Poe Dameron and BB8, who have crash-landed on the volcanic planet Mustafar. They end up in Darth Vader's spooky castle, which has been transformed into a haunted house-style theme park. While Poe's X-Wing is being repaired, Vader and Emperor Palpatine set about telling the pair some scary stories. It looks as silly, irreverent, and funny as previous Lego Star Wars shows--check the trailer out below:

Disney has also released details of the three stories in Terrifying Tales. They are:

  • The Lost Boy, the story of how a young Ben Solo first meets Ren
  • The Dueling Monstrosities, which imagines how Darth Maul and General Grievous were reborn
  • The Wookiee's Paw, which gives a look at what might have happened if all of Luke Skywalker's greatest wishes were immediately granted

The voice-cast for the special includes Veep and Arrested Development star Tony Hale as Vader's loyal servant Vaneé and Mr. Robot's Christian Slater as a character named Ren. Other actors include Jake Green as Poe, Dana Snyder as Graballa the Hutt, and Matt Sloan as both Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader.

Terrifying Tales follows the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special, which was released in November 2020. Both specials are directed by Ken Cunningham and written by David Shayne.

In terms of other Disney+ Star Wars shows, there are no fewer than 10 currently in various stages of development. The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is currently in production, with Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the Jedi master from the Star Wars prequels. McGregor recently teased that Obi-Wan might look a bit different from the last time we saw him.
