Warner Bros. and TT Games on Monday released the first gameplay trailer for LEGO Jurassic World, giving gamers a look inside the upcoming prehistoric title based on the works of Michael Crichton. A teaser trailer for the game was released last month, but this is the first glimpse at actual gameplay for the upcoming title.

The game follows the stories of Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III, as well as the upcoming Jurassic World, which hits theaters on June 12. It will recreate famous scenes from the movies while infusing the LEGO series trademark light humor.
Watch the trailer above to see Muldoon's famous "Clever girl" line with a humorous twist.
LEGO Jurassic World launches in June for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, 3DS, and PC. Warner Bros. also released a handful of new LEGO Jurassic World images today; see the image gallery below for a closer look at the game.
In addition to LEGO Jurassic World, TT Game is working on LEGO Marvel Avengers, launching for the same platforms this fall.
The LEGO series of video games is one of the biggest in all of gaming with over 100 million units sold to date. There are only a handful of gaming franchises that have reached that number. In hitting that mark, the LEGO series joins household names such as Mario, Pokemon, Need for Speed, Final Fantasy, Grand Theft Auto, and FIFA, among others.
LEGO games date back to the 1990s, but the licensed titles that you're likely most familiar with began in 2005 with the original LEGO Star Wars. Since then, Warner Bros. has made LEGO games based on blockbuster franchises like Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Rock Band.
