Legend of the Blade Masters on DC

Ripcord to support the Dreamcast with Legend of the Blade Masters - Spec Ops II also highly likely.

Comments

Ripcord has revealed to GameSpot News that Legend of Blade Masters is currently in development for a simultaneous Dreamcast and PC release next year. The RPG title lets players take control of a man named Erik Valdemar, who joins others to learn the powers of magic and fend off the alien creatures that have assimilated the land's inhabitants. The game is scheduled to release in March of 2000. Although not specified, it's likely the screens we've included are of the PC version, but no doubt the title will look identical on the Sega console.

Ripcord has also informed us that its tactical combat simulator Spec Ops II is also currently being planned for a Dreamcast release, although nothing has been made official yet. The game is being targeted for an April 2000 release. For complete details of the PC version of Spec Ops II, check out Amer Ajami's expansive preview linked on the right.
