As esports returned to Texas this weekend, the battle for the Lone Star Clash trophy was between Evil Geniuses' ace Jaedong and North America's spiritual countryman Choi 'Polt' Seong Hun. Whilst these two players have only donned the gloves against one-another only once before in their entire competitive history, the meeting is memorable due to the brutal nature of it as Polt absolutely demolished Jaedong in a clean 4-0 sweep at the WCS America Season 2 finals.

This encounter in turn almost became a complete reversal of that series almost a year ago, as the zerg legend defeated his terran adversary 4-2, earning him the title of LSC 3 champion.
