The album is called Warsongs, and it comes with 11 songs remixed by some of the "world's top EDM DJs and producers," though none were named in Riot's announcement. Artists featured on the tracks include Arty, MitiS, Marshmello, James Egbert, Mako, Hyper Potions, Jauz, Minnesota, and Vicetone.

Warsongs was produced by Riot's music team, Riot Records, under the direction of producer Tyler Eltringham. He says in a blog post that Riot actively sought out musicians who had genuine connections to gaming, and League of Legends specifically.

"It wasn't about finding big names for the big names," he explained. "It had to be musicians who really connected to what Warsongs was trying to do, who had a sense of 'This is how music gets me excited and hyped when I play games I love.'"

Development manager Toa Dunn added that Riot personally vetted every artist, asking questions like, "Do they play League, are they part of gaming culture, do they 'get' the League community? Will this person be accessible, and does it feel like an authentic fit?'"

Variety was also important to Riot when creating the album, so you can expect to hear everything from "big room anthems" to "dirtier dubstep." The overall goal was to capture the "spirit and intensity" of League of legends and represent that in music form.
