Legacy Interactive has announced that Law & Order: Dead on the Money, an adventure game based on NBC's Law & Order television series, is complete and will ship on September 24. The game will let players solve a Wall Street murder case and alternately play the roles of criminal investigator and district attorney. The likenesses of three of the series' actors are in the game: Jerry Orbach (Detective Lennie Briscoe), S. Epatha Merkerson (Lieutenant Anita Van Buren), and Elisabeth Röhm (Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn).

"In creating this game, we wanted players to have the full Law & Order experience, out on the street with the detectives, as well as in the courtroom with the attorneys," said Ariella Lehrer, Legacy's CEO. "With the participation of the show's talented actors, we have made Law & Order: Dead on the Money truly authentic."

Law & Order: Dead on the Money will be available in retail stores later this month for a suggested price of $29.99. A Mac version of the game is scheduled for November.
