Latest Oddworld title no stranger to the Web

The Web sure has its share of odd inhabitants, and Electronics Arts just added one more. The official Web site for the upcoming Oddworld Stranger's Wrath was launched by EA today. The site details game features and showcases the truly odd world of Oddworld with screenshots and videos. This latest addition to the Oddworld series is a departure from the franchise and introduces a new character known only as The Stranger, a bounty hunter who hunts down outlaws using living Oddworld creatures as ammunition. The first- and third-person action shooter is scheduled for release January 26 exclusively for the Xbox. Development of a PlayStation 2 version of the game was canceled last month.
