Latest Battlefield 4 PS4 patch released
New Battlefield 4 patch offers fixes for both single and multiplayer.
DICE has released a new update for the PlayStation 4 version of Battlefield 4, which includes fixes for both single and multiplayer modes.
The PlayStation 4 version of Battlefield 4 has been plagued by issues since it launched alongside the console on November 15. "We’ve included a number of fixes that should further decrease the amount of crashes and increase the overall stability of the game," said Battlefield community manager Vincent V. Vukovic.
"We will continue to increase stability going forward, stay tuned," Vukovic added.
Last week DICE released a Battlefield 4 hotfix that it said solved the three most common crash issues.
The November 26 Battlefield 4 PS4 patch should help with the following:
- Fixed common crashes that could occur when changing weapons or maps.
- Reduced the probability of a corrupted save file in the single player campaign.
- Fixed a crash occurring when resuming the single player campaign.
- Fixed a bug where accessing PlayStation Plus subscription resulted in a connection error.
- Improved performance when shooting at destroyed Levolution objects.
DICE will hold a Double XP event on the PlayStation 4 version of the game next weekend as a way of apologizing to users affected by the game's troubled PS4 launch.
