Latest Battlefield 4 patch aims to make life easier for PS4, PS3, and 360 owners
Long list of fixes and updates in latest BF4 patch.
Battlefield 4 today saw major patches for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 versions of the game, as part of DICE's ongoing effort to aid the beleaguered shooter.
All three patches work on fixing the "kill trading" issue that the developer fixed in the PC version of the game yesterday, with many other fixes--including some of which are platform-specific--also being rolled into the updates.
Has the new patch made a noticeable difference for you?
You can read the specific patch notes for the PS4, PS3, and 360 versions of the game in their individual posts on DICE's forum. A patch for Xbox One is still in the works.
Each platform also receives "general stability improvements" that are not listed in detail. The developer now claims to have addressed many of the "top issues" that it laid out in a forum post last week.
Battlefield 4 players have had a rough time of things since the game's troubled launch in October, and the amount of complaints encouraged DICE to publicly state that it would halt development on future titles and DLC until the game had been sufficiently improved.
