The good news is that Ultimate Game Sale is the biggest Xbox One game sale we've seen all year. The bad news is, it ends today. So hurry up and check it out, because this sale offers up to 65% off digital Xbox games, with an added 10% off select games for Xbox Live Gold members.

We've already gone over some of the sale's highlights overall, but here we thought we'd put some limits on it now. If you don't have a mountain of cash to spend, you're probably wondering what you can get without having to take out a high-interest bank loan. Below are some of the best games available in the sale for under $10. Note that these are the prices for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. If you're not a Gold member, the price you see could be a bit higher. Let's look at some deals.

You don't have to spend much to get a decent shooter during this sale. The underrated gravity-defying Titanfall 2 is on sale for $6 / £5.25. You can get the Metro: Redux Bundle, which contains both Metro: 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux, for $7.50 / £6. And even if it's not the best game in the series, Mass Effect: Andromeda may be worth checking out for $10 / £6.

Two very different takes on the Dark Knight are available for under $10. If you're looking for some stealth action, you can grab Batman: Return to Arkham for $10 / £20. More story-minded DC fans might prefer Batman: The Telltale Series for $10 / £10.

You can play through Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series for $10 / £9.60 as you wonder what the third movie will be like without James Gunn at the helm. Retro game fans can save half off Arcade Game Series 3-in-1 Pack, bringing it down to $4 / £3.20. It comes with Pac-Man, Galaga, and Dig-Dug--all highly regarded games from the 1980s.

If you don't have Xbox Live Gold but want these sweet sub-$10 prices, consider subscribing now. A one-year membership is currently on sale for $40 / £26.50. Or perhaps you'd rather not pay for games individually at all. In that case, try a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass, on sale for $10 / £8. It lets you download and play a selection of over a hundred games on your Xbox One, including first-party games the same day they’re released.

Silent Hill HD Collection for under $8 is a steal. IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED SILENT HILL 2 AND 3 YOU MUST GET THIS.

The Arcade Game Series 3-in-1 Pack, somehow, doesn´t support arcade sticks.

Buyer beware

The prices aren't as good if you're silver, except for, of course, membership prices.

Pretty lame sale. Most of these games were priced at half of these discount prices in the E3 sale.

@Barighm: As usual, indie games have the best deals available this time around.

~Batman Return to Arkham~I just recently purchased Arkham Knight for PS4 all because I wanted to go at it again but W/ the JusticeLeague3000 batsuit & the Scarecrow PS4 exlusive missions(which Rocksteady betrayed xbox by NOT releasing them once the exclusivity expired. whatevs)

~actually putt 100-200 hours into AK on Xbox but bored-Quit shortly after Deathstroke shows up, or right after I defeated ArkhamKnight in tank battle & sneak up on him sniping...

~So my question is ~Should I get 'Return to Arkham' on Xbox via this sale, or get it on PS4 since that is my more recent batman session???

I honestly don't know nor have any incentive other then what I mentioned above... I do have 4k tv but don't think it has a XboxOneX enhancement anyways.

State of Decay~1 was awesome..One of those remasters that was done right w/ very noticeable improvements.

Similar to 'TheLast of Us',,GTA V...

I put in a lot of hours into SOD on 360 & esp on xboxone & esp Breakdown DLC..

I have failed to immerse into StateofDecay2 after trying couple times after it launched..whatevs..

if by rare chance you Haven't played SOD1 then you are in for a treat...

the game gets fun once you master controls & learn to drop backpacks strategically outside you're base for when you need em

and can get the roster of Uber survivor members like the Uber Powerful Doc Hansen who will radio-heal anyone who asks. best perk ever! I need to stop talking bout SOD1 asap or I'll end up jumping back in & the cancer known as BACKLOG with grow...

@sippio: I believe Return to Arkham got a Ps4 Pro patch which helped with frame drops.

@sippio: I have both systems as well and would buy it for Xbox, even though I personally have the 2-game pack on PS4. Actually, if there are no "exclusives" attached to the game, I would buy every third party game on Xbox 1X because it upscales every game to 4K even though it's not "enhanced." Playing a different Batman game on PS4 more recently has no affect on this game, so I don't even get why that would be a reason. Unless you prefer the PS4 controller, I would just get the Xbox version.

@Vodoo: I picked it up the other day on Xbox.

I shot my whole wad on xbox ultimate sale. Picked up SouthPark2 Ultimate & SNiperElite4 Ultimate,,DLC for LauraCraft tomb of something, and of course ReturnTA..

*sniper ELite wa sboring and I put it down..

Ironic, I returned to Mordor instead..

agreed about xbox on 3rd party games..

Xbox controller doesfeel like butt compaired to PS4 but whatevs..
Even my elite broke and now I can use the dang headphone adapter. ugh!

@sippio: The Xbox One has the best controller. The Playstation has never had a good controller(and I have owned every playstation console)

Avatar image for Pyrosa

@AlabamaFan92: Agreed -- I need a larger controller. I've owned every PS and every XB, and my fav controller is the OG XB.

If the Duke XO ever is actually orderable, I intend to buy one. As for now, you can't actually get one anywhere.

@Pyrosa: Playing any shooter on PS3 was terrible with the R2 and L2 buttons. That alone made me get an Xbox 360 over a PS3 back in the day. The playstation controllers have always been too small and not ergonomic enough to be comfortable for longer play sessions. The PS3 joysticks were also far too tall. Unlike you, however, I did not like the OG Xbox controller. It always felt too bulky to me. The Xbox 360 really nailed their controller though.
