Not much time is left to claim one of the best PS4 games for completely free. Sony has been offering Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition for free for PS4 and PS5 owners since April 19 as part of its ongoing Play at Home initiative, but that offer ends this evening. Be sure to claim Horizon Zero Dawn in the PlayStation Store before 8 PM PT / 11 PM ET tonight (May 14)--after that, it'll be back to its $20 list price.

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition includes the Frozen Wilds expansion and some bonuses like extra outfits, weapons, and resources. That's on top of the already massive base game that has a sequel coming later this year, Horizon Forbidden West.

Now Playing: Horizon Forbidden West Trailer | Sony PS5 Reveal Event

The Play at Home giveaway started in 2020 as a goodwill gesture during the initial days of the COVID-19 pandemic, but Sony has continued it into this year as well, kicking off the program with nine free games back in March. Horizon Zero Dawn doesn't mark the end of the freebies for PS4 and PS5 owners--Sony has confirmed more free content is coming starting May 17, including a bunch of in-game content for Destruction AllStars, Warframe, Rocket League, NBA 2K21, and more.

Released in 2017, Horizon Zero Dawn is undoubtedly one of the best (and most stunning) games released on PS4. It's also one of the high-profile PlayStation games ported to PC, with a patch in January aimed at improving its initial performance. Its protagonist, Aloy, was recently yet another in Fortnite's ever-growing roster of game celebrity cameos.
