Note that these deals are for Uplay, not Steam, and you must have the Uplay game client installed on your PC. You must also have an Ubisoft account (which is free to create). Once you've purchased Assassin's Creed at Fanatical, you'll be prompted to log into your Ubisoft account--once you do, you'll see the word "activating," and the game will be added to your Ubisoft account.
