No information has been shared for pretty much everyone's role in the video game adaptation series, aside from Goggins--who will play a "ghoul-like character." Similarly, Not much is known about the story this series will tackle, and whether it will adapt an existing one or tell an entirely original tale within the Fallout setting. Back in 2021, executive producer Lisa Joy (Westworld) offered a small tease on the series' planned tone, saying it's "just a gonzo, crazy, funny, adventure and a mindf**k like none you’ve ever seen before."

Todd Howard and Jason Altman from Bethesda are executive producers. As for the Fallout game series, 2018's Fallout 76 is the latest entry in the series. Developer Bethesda Game Studios' next project is Starfield, which releases sometime in the first half of 2023.
