Koreans sweep IEM Singapore dual tournament to qualify for main event

Korean progamers would take all of the four available main events spots on the first day of Intel Extreme Masters Singapore.

The IEM Singapore dual tournament, a tournament the effectively works like an open bracket, would finish today with four Koreans taking the four qualification spots for the main event which begins tomorrow.

Park 'Squirtle' Hyun WooProtoss
Kang 'San' Cho WonProtoss
Lee 'Curious' Won PyoZerg
Kim 'EffOrt' Jung WooZerg

The four above would best the likes of foreign favorites Kim 'SaSe' Hammar and Korean powerhouses like Kim 'Oz' Hak Su.

The main event is split into four groups of four, where the players will play in a GSL style double elimination format. The top two players in each group will move on to a single elimination playoff where the winner will ultimately walk away with $10,000.
