Konami has eased the release schedule for the always-crowded holiday season, bringing cheer to some and disappointment to others. The company announced at its summer press event that the releases of SLAI: Steel Lancer Arena International and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit have been pushed up to September, while Beatmania has been delayed to 2006. All games were originally set for a November release.

The mech game SLAI is rated T for Teen and will feature online mech battles when released for the PlayStation 2. Based on the upcoming claymation film of the same name, the E-rated action adventure game Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit will let fans of the British duo reenact the film's events on the Xbox and PS2. The DJ game Beatmania will see a PS2-only release when it hits stores next year.
