Konami has gained the rights to distribute the next installments in the F-1 World Grand Prix series for the Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color. Previously, Nintendo had an agreement with Video System to distribute the F-1 games. (Nintendo will handle the upcoming F-1 World Gran Prix 11 on the N64.)

Beginning with the third installment in the F-1 World Grand Prix series for the Game Boy Color and Nintendo 64, Konami will distribute the games. Whereas the first two installments were developed by Paradigm, there's a strong likelihood that future games will be developed in-house.

Although rumored to be facing severe delays or even cancellation, the Dreamcast version of F-1 World Grand Prix is still on schedule, claims a Video System representative. Sega is still expected to publish the game.
