With just a few weeks to go before E3 2018, Hideo Kojima is teasing some kind of Death Stranding reveal for the big show. Kojima tweeted a cryptic image today that looks like it could be an screenshot from the PlayStation 4 game's expected E3 trailer. Kojima captioned the image, "+1 on the T-minutes 3 weeks. E3 2018. DecimaxKojima=DS."

Let's unpack this: the +1 is likely in response to The Last of Us: Part II director Neil Druckmann releasing his own mysterious image on Twitter about an E3 reveal. And as for the DecimaxKojima=DS line, that is more than likely about how Death Stranding (DS) uses Killzone and Horizon: Zero Dawn developer Guerrilla Games' Decima engine.

But what is the image showing? It shows what appears to be moss covering...something. People on the Death Stranding subreddit are speculating wildly about what it all may mean. Some believe the moss is covering a body. Check out the image in the embed above and let us know what mysteries you think it may be hiding. The Last of Us: Part II image is below.

Death Stranding Mads Mikkelson (Hannibal), The Shape of War director Guillermo Del Toro, and Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead). In April, Kojima spoke a little about the game, explaining why he wanted Norman Reedus to be naked in the game's first trailer.

Death Stranding is one of four games that Sony will focus on during its E3 2018 briefing next month. The event is slated for the evening of June 11.
